The wedding of Jenna and Tom took place on an unusually sunny April day in the Welsh valleys. Maes Manor, situated above Blackwood, is popular for its elevated views over the valley and its large open plan reception suite which can seat up to 220. That's a lot of happy guests!
Bride and Groom prepared for the big day at their parents houses, and due to their fairly close proximity (and timing), I was able to dart between the two to capture both getting ready.
As usual, the grooms house was a picture of tranquillity with bacon sandwiches and tea all round, before casually donning their suits. The hustle and bustle was all taking place with the bride and her bridesmaids at house number two. The energy was all positive, full of happiness and excitement.
As is the brides prerogative, she was a little late to the party having forgotten her bouquet which meant a u-turn half way to the venue. The rest of the day went off without a hitch and the sun shone into the evening celebrations.
Jenna wore a custom made sweetheart ball gown and diamante encrusted Benjamin Adams heels, switching to a more laid back pair of "blinged" up Converse after the ceremony.
The groomsmen wore suits by Slaters Menswear.
